Collection: Condrieu

While Viognier is now grown all over the wine world, there can be no doubt that its spiritual homeland is Condrieu in France's northern Rhône. The appellation was created in 1940, and today approximately 40 growers make wines from just over 100 hectares of vineyards. The wines are dry with a wonderfully unique floral nose of peaches, apricots, violets and pears. They tend toward quite high alcohol, with low-ish acidity and are best enjoyed young. A top quality Condrieu can make for a truly memorable wine experience.
