Limoux is an insider secret for all but the most ardent Chardonnay lovers. It’s in the Languedoc, but it’s higher and cooler than the rest of the region. These diverse and rich terroirs are considered among the best terroirs in France, outside of Burgundy, for the Chardonnay grape variety. This means the wines are more concentrated, more aromatic and more delicious. Chardonnay thrives here.
