Surface area: 2.94.62 hectares, 14,631 vines trained with the classic Gujot system
Vinification: with natural yeasts, semi-submerged cap maceration for 18-30 days.
Aging: traditional in Slavonian oak barrels for 15-24 months.

A Nebbiolo the equal of many Barolos

“Cavallotto's Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 offers a sneak preview of one of the greatest Piedmont Vintages of the last decade. This superb example has more depth and breeding evident than many Estate Barolos at twice the price. Medium dark ruby colour. A beautiful bouquet of cassis and wild cherry with rose & black licorice, crushed stone and tar. A solid fruit core offers superb concentration, with a long long finish. Evident but very fine tannins. This is actually picked from fruit from the various parts of the greater Bricco Boschis with an average age of 30-35 years. This is not a young vine blend, but a serious example of mature vine Nebbiolo. Don't miss it. Tasted at the Estate September 2023."
