Pyramid Valley Lion's Tooth Chardonnay 2020

One of the most impressive New Zealand Chardonnays around, grown on limestone slopes on New Zealand's south island, this has tons of concentration and a core of bright, zingy lemon fruit. Around that is softer stone fruit character with light nutty flavours. Pure, textural and fresh.

Golden straw colour with a bright Meyer lemon hue. Aromas feel slightly sunnier than its compatriot, with nectarine and buttercup sitting amongst the mandarin, ripe lemon and fresh cashew nut. Immediately open and concentrated on the palate, grilled stonefruit, lemons, marscapone, flowering thyme, oatmeal biscuit and distinctive grilled cashew nut; richness is ever present then becomes confined by the feel of limestone chalkiness and salt.
